The RAMP
The RAMP
Jesus is the “RAMP” — the way to a better, eternal life. God doesn’t ask anyone to believe on blind faith; He gives four historical, irrefutable proofs that Jesus is the One who can take a person from brokenness into a whole new life. The idea comes straight from Paul’s own summary of the Gospel in 1 Cor 15:1-8 — read it, then just remember one word: RAMP.

Resurrection
1 Cor 15:1-8 — “Christ died for our sins… and was resurrected…” Jesus never sinned, but He died for ours. He was seen by hundreds of people after His resurrection. The religious leaders tried to discredit the story immediately, but they could not produce the body. It was not in the tomb. He has risen!
Apostle’s Testimony
We know what Jesus did and taught because of the testimony of eyewitnesses — people who lived and walked with Him, and wrote what they saw. This became the New Testament. Christianity isn’t based on a philosophy or one leader’s private experience; it rests on the eyewitness testimony of men who were killed for saying He rose, and would not deny it even to save their lives. See Acts 10:38-42, 1 John 1:1-3, Luke 1:1-2, and Heb 2:3-4.
Miracles
All through the Gospels — miracle after miracle. Healing the sick, raising the dead, walking on water, feeding thousands. A few examples:
- Heals a leper — Matt 8:1-3
- Heals a Roman centurion’s servant — Matt 8:5-13
- Calms a storm — Matt 8:23-27
- Heals a paralytic — Matt 9:1-2
- Heals a woman with a hemorrhage, raises a dead girl, and heals two blind men — Matt 9:18-29
Prophecy
There are over 300 prophecies written in the Old Testament — centuries before Jesus was born — that describe almost every aspect of His life and ministry. A few examples:
- Born of a virgin — Isaiah 7:14
- Would be “God with us” — Isaiah 7:14
- Born in Bethlehem — Micah 5:2
- A descendant of Abraham — Gen 12:3
- A descendant of Isaac — Gen 17:19
- A descendant of Judah — Gen 49:10
- A descendant of King David — 2 Sam 7:12-13
- Would die for our sins as a servant — Isaiah 53
- Would be raised from the dead — Psalm 16:10
