El Inicio del Camino (Herramientas Básicas de Discipulado)

Un ritmo de ocho semanas para entrenar a cada nuevo creyente a obedecer y multiplicar desde el principio — no es una clase para asistir, sino un conjunto de prácticas para hacer juntos, semana tras semana, hasta que se vuelvan algo natural.

   Cuenta tu historia

   Ensaya un breve testimonio de tres minutos sobre la vida antes y después de seguir a Jesús, terminando con una pregunta que invite a una respuesta. Elige a cinco personas a quienes contárselo esta semana.

   Practica contar el Evangelio usando 3 Círculos u otro método sencillo, luego cuenta tu historia y la historia de Jesús a cinco personas esta semana.

   Bautismo

   Encuentra agua cercana y bautiza a cada nuevo creyente de inmediato, y sigue bautizando a la gente tan pronto como crean.

   La Biblia

   Memoriza y recita las siete preguntas del estudio bíblico «Discovery» que se utilizan en cada «Simple Meeting».

   Habla con Dios

   Rezad el Padrenuestro en grupo utilizando la mano como guía: la palma para la relación, el pulgar para la adoración, el índice para la entrega, el dedo corazón para pedir, el anular para perdonar, el meñique para la protección y, de nuevo, el pulgar para terminar con la adoración. O bien, enseñad el «Ciclo de la Oración» en su lugar. Ver Vela 2 para más herramientas de oración.

   Padre nuestro que estás en los cielos, santificado sea tu Nombre. Venga tu Reino, hágase tu voluntad, en la tierra como en el cielo. Danos hoy nuestro pan de cada día. Perdona nuestras ofensas, como también nosotros perdonamos a quienes nos ofenden. No nos dejes caer en la tentación, y líbranos del mal.

   Tiempos difíciles

   Compartid alguna dificultad a la que os hayáis enfrentado por vuestra nueva fe, reflexionad sobre las dificultades que aún están por venir y practicad, mediante un juego de roles, cómo responder con valentía y amor. Orad unos por otros a medida que surjan las necesidades.

   Conviértete en una Iglesia

   Evaluar el grupo según las marcas de una iglesia saludable —compromiso, bautismo, Biblia, comunión, compañerismo, dar, oración, alabanza, evangelismo y líderes— y discutir qué falta todavía.

   Hechos 2:42-47; 1 Corintios 11:23-34

Cada semana, sin importar cuál sea el elemento en el que se enfoquen, el grupo cuenta su historia y la historia de Jesús a cinco personas. Ese ritmo único, repetido semana tras semana, es lo que mantiene el rumbo avanzando.
