06. Learn One Bible Story, and Share It
From Church Attenders to Kingdom Laborers · Part 06
Psalm 78:4-7; Mark 5:19
You may not feel qualified to preach a sermon.
But you can tell a story.
You can learn how Jesus calmed a storm.
How He forgave a sinful woman.
How He restored a demon-possessed man.
How He welcomed Zacchaeus.
How He raised Lazarus from the dead.
Then you can share that story with someone and ask:
“What does this story reveal about God?”
That simple question can open the door to a life-changing conversation.
After Jesus delivered the man in Mark 5, the man wanted to travel with Him. But Jesus gave him a different assignment:
“Go to your house, to your friends, and tell them what great things the Lord has done for you.”

Jesus did not send him to seminary first.
He sent him home with a story.
Bible storytelling allows ordinary believers to carry God’s Word into homes, workplaces, schools, villages, and conversations.
A story can be remembered.
A story can be repeated.
And when it is repeated, the person listening can share it with someone else.
That is how the truth begins to multiply.
You do not need to know every answer.
Learn one story accurately.
Practice telling it naturally.
Share it with one person.
Then ask a few simple questions:
What stood out to you?
What does this teach us about God?
What does this teach us about people?
If this story is true, what should we do?
Who else needs to hear it?
Do not underestimate what God can do through one believer, one Bible story, and one willing conversation.
Challenge: What Bible story could you learn today and share with someone this week?
Then help the person who heard it share it with someone else.
That is not merely telling a story.
That is making disciples who can make disciples.
